“A Parent’s Moralizing Spectacles” Vulgarly Called the Wanton

“Vulgar”, from a series meant as a warning to parents not to raise their daughters to be like these girls. This piece depicting a woman in a messy kimono, holding a crab in one hand and gulping down sake. Her manly appearance is quite winsome, however, and her kimono pattern is made up of sake brands and crests.
