“The Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido” Otsu

A teahouse on the shores of Lake Biwa in Otsujuku, Tokaido. The sign reads “sake” and “our specialty, funazushi”, and is probably a type of rest stop for travelers on the road. Of course, alcohol is no longer on the menu of modern rest stops.
