A video of how straw ropes are made at Kenbishi Sake Brewery. The straw rope is made from rice stalks, and used as a way to show gratitude to the land and gods. At Kenbishi, these ropes are used to bind sake barrels. In addition, the use of straw rope also helps to reduce plastic waste.
