This digital exhibition aims to showcase how kokushu was advertised throughout history in Japan, starting from the Edo period.
In 1922, Japan enacted its first age restriction on alcohol, ‘Minor Drinking Prohibition Act’. This explanation will briefly explain the background of the introduction of the act.
