A story featuring the protagonist, Sawaki’s campus life in an agricultural college. Sawaki is a successor of ‘Moyashiya’ who has a special ability to recognize the fungus with just his naked eye. This manga elaborates the various ecologies of the fungus, as well as the know-how of producing Japanese sake, shochu, and awamori. Moreover, it incisively penetrates the current situation of the sake industry. This story was adapted into an anime and live-action drama.
