Even after photographs dominated posters replacing paintings and prints, themes and compositions reminiscent of bijin-ga (painting of a beauty) were still popular. This work focuses on the overall picture of a woman in a kimono holding a folding fan, and the brand and the trade name “Chuetsu Sake Brewery Co., Ltd.”, which is the predecessor of Yoshinogawa Co., Ltd., is modestly placed in the lower right corner.
