A poster of the bottling section of Tatsuuma-Honke Brewing Co. Ltd., the brewer of “Hakushika”. Sake had been packaged in cedar barrels for distribution, but around 1900, glass bottles started to take over. Around that time, Tatsuuma-Honke set up a bottling section, built a new bottling factory, and started shipping sake in glass bottles. The wooden box drawn in the back is for carrying the bottles, and the writing on the box indicates it fits a dozen bottles.
