Shochu Distillation
After brewing sake, the master brewer and workers relax by eating and drinking in the tatami room. They came from Echigo during the sake brewing season and lived in the brewery. You can see a ledger on the back wall, and in front of it, a household altar for the Matsuo Taisha Shrine, which enshrines the god of sake brewing.
