“The Flowers of Edo: A Collection of Famous Places” Arrival of a Boat Carrying Sake at Shinkawa

In Edo, “kudarizake” transported by boats from the Kansai region such as Itami and Nada was preferred, and a large amount of it was ferried here by sea. Most of the sake that arrived in Edo was unloaded at Shinkawa.
