Learn About the History and Culture of Kokushu
This is a collaborative project between BEAMS JAPAN and three major shochu distilleries that was held in 2019 and 2020. The product line includes T-shirts by Tokyo Cultuart by BEAMS with designs of shochu labels, as well as cup shochu and T-shirts designed by creative artist, Non (2019) and comedian, Kukki (2020). They also set up ‘Snack Beams Japan’ in 2020 to introduce the charms of Japanese “snack (bar) culture” and shochu. Participating distilleries are; Takahashi Shuzo (Hakutake), Sanwa Shurui (ichiko), Satsuma Shuzo (Shirakami).
