In addition to making shochu, Tsunematsu Shuzou also focuses on cultivating (Hinohikari) rice for shochu in their own rice fields located right in front of the brewery. The staff take good care of the seedlings and plant rice every June. The image shows master brewer Maeda Toji planting rice.
