Imayô Ôeyama-iri (The Story of Mount Ôe in Modern Style)

The horned cask called ‘tsuno-daru’, on which the woman in the left corner is leaning against, is easy to hold and transport due to the handles that protrude from the left and right of the barrel. It is often used in celebrations. This is a parody of an old tale of a samurai warrior heading to a mountain to rid of the demon, and patter on each lady’s kimono show which character is portrayed.
