Sacred Wine Bottles and Yema (Sacred Picture for Dedication in the Temple)

http://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/54535

A wooden chicken plaque and sacred sake on an offering stand, offered to Toshigami, a Shinto god, to celebrate the New Year of the Rooster. Unlike most Ukiyo-e, this is probably a privately commissioned piece.
